Does Meloxicam Interact With Xarelto And Cartia XT?

I am currently taking several medications and wonder if I should take them together. One is for arhtiritis in knees - meloxicam. One is Sulindac - an anti-infamatory and one is for my back - Baclogen I am also on a regiman of Cartia , Xarelto, and furesomide due to an issue of a blood clot and congestive heart failure that I am recovering from. My back spasms are affecting my day to the point of doing something and I don t know which one or all to take.!

Yes, Meloxicam interacts with Xarelto and Cartia XT medicines.

1. Meloxicam when taken along with Xarelto or Sulindac can increase the risk of severe bleeding causing bruising, blood in the stool or urine or vomitus. You should seek immediate medical attention if you experience such bleeding. Your doctor may prescribe an alternate effective medication to treat your arthritis.

There's no evidence of such harmful interaction if Baclofen is taken along with Xarelto.

2. Taking Meloxicam while on Cartia XT may cause your blood pressure to increase. You may need a dose adjustment or your blood pressure checked more often.
