Does Mensil Intake Cause Problems In Conceiving?

I had a unprotected sex last month so that my periods s not proper. I consult my doctor she prescribed me MENSIL. And she gave me postpone. Please tell me when I want to take it after a sex. I want a 2nd baby after 2 years. Is there any side affect if I take this pill.

Thanks for posting your query. Since you have irregular cycles, it is difficult to predict the ovulation period. As you wish to conceive after two years, the best option is to go for regular contraception. I do not advice emergency contraception after every intercourse. The emergency pill contains high doses of progesterone and this causes hormone imbalances. The pill use should be restricted to one or two occasions per year. Hope you find this information useful.
