Does Micardis Cause Broken Blood Vessels In The Eyes?
I have been taking a higher dose of mycardis per my doctor than I usually take. I was taking 4o mg. daily and am now taking 80 mg. daily. Last Friday I woke up with a bright red right eye. I went to my doctor to make sure I didn't have pink eye. He confirmed that I don't have pink eye. My question is; could the higher dose of Micardis cause a blood vessel to burst in my eye? I have been monitoring my blood pressure also.

Mycardis can cause a Conjunctivitis, visual disturbance but is still rare side effect. I thinke the red eye is caused by a chronic high Hypertension,that caused the Vessels to burst. You have to regulate your Blood Preesure and do not overdose your medicament.
