Does Milk Of Magnesia Prevent Healing Of Duodenal Ulcer?
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I have been diagnosed with a duodenal ulcer, and I also have IBS-C for which I take Milk of Magnesia daily. I have been taking proton pump inhibitors for over 10 weeks with no real improvement. Is it possible that the MoM might be irritating my stomach and preventing healing?Thank you.

As per our clinical experience, milk of magnesia does not prevent the healing of a duodenal ulcer.
Work additionally with dietary measures, gut flora replenishment has to be figured out for faster recovery.
