Does Misoprostol Has Be Inserted Vaginally As Well As Taken Orally?

my doctor has gave me the medication for early abortion today i have taken mifepristone 200mg and day after tommorow i have to take misoprostil 2 insert in vigina and 1 oraly and after 6 hours again one oraly is it the right way my pregnacy is 4 weeks.kindly advice me.

Understand your concern
Yous should take the abortion pill-misoprostol under the advice of gynecologist as chance of complication and failure is high.
Misoprostol should be taken by the both way vaginally or orally.
Vaginally: should be put high in the vagina by gynecologist
Orally: should be put under the tongue for 30 minutes till it get dissolved, after 30 minutes you can swallow remaining tablet.
Ideally, misoprostol 400 ug should be taken vaginally or orally, another 400 ug vaginally/orally after 4 hour. If still more required extra dose up to 5 times should be repeated at 4-6 hour interval. Bledding and cramps will occur 30-45 minutes after using last pills and continue foe 3-5 days till the abortion will complte. USG should be done after 14 days to confirm incomplete abortion for safe practice.
