Does Mtronidazole Vaginal Gel Cause Complications In Getting Pregnant?

I had sex on my ovulation day and that was bout six days ago. Now i think i had some implantation spotting. I think I have a bacterial inection. I usually know when i get one cuz I get them very easy. I have a prescription for metronidazole vaginal gel. Will the medication interrupt the pregnancy if I am pregnant.

dear Ms, the metronidazole vaginal gel is safe in pregnancy and it won't interrupt the pregnancy. the spotting could be due to implantation . you should avoid vigorous activity and get a pregnancy test when the date of your upcoming period is due
