Does Nature-Throid Have Any Side Effects?
What happens to your body and what kind of symptoms do you develop if you abruptly stop your thyroid medication . Medication naturethroid 65 mcg. I am mostly concerned about Side effects of not taking it for several days . And when you started again how long does it take for the medication to take affect ?

I have gone carefully through your concern.
When thyroid hormone is stopped, symptoms of hypothyroidism are expected; feeling sleepy, low body temp, constipation ect.
Usually they are expected when the hormone is stopped for many months, not for some days.
It needs a 6 weeks period for the symptoms to get back to normal after restarting treatment.
