Does Norethisterone Help With Stopping Periods After Spotting?
Started spotting today but I am going on vacation on Friday (to Monday), is it still possible to stop my period if i start to take norethisterone today? Will it affect fertility after taking it and do I need to wait for a few months before start trying to conceive again? I know it is the best not to take it but we have been waiting for this vacation for so long and unfortunately my period was late for 9 days so it is now clashing with the vacation (did the pregnancy test and it is negative) Million thanks!

Hello,
Since you already started spotting. it is highly likely that you are about to get your period. So taking Norethisterone so late cannot prevent menstruation. You need to take the medication at least 5 days before the expected period.
You can try conceiving the month after taking norethisterone.
