Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Welcome to HCM and thank you for your query.
I understand your concern.
Headache and nausea may occur in the early days of starting numlo (amlodipine) which was prescribed for your high blood pressure. In most cases it passes of after a week or so. If you can tolerate this, it would be a good medicine for you.
If you are not able to tolerate it you may take a diuretic or a beta blocker which are less likely to cause headache than other group of medicines.
If you have more queries, I shall be happy to answer.
Take Care
Dr Noble Zachariah
