Does Oosure Help To Treat PCOS?

hi, My name is xxx, I am having PCOS. My period is irregular since last 4-5 months only. Before that it was ok but I was not ovulating. Doctor advised taking oosure and try reducing weight. I have reduced 5 KG in last two months and also taking oosure regularly. Period came in time this month but its very very light bleeding. Hence wanted to know if I am going in right direction to conceive.

OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. There may be other associated hormone changes like altered thyroid profile, insulin resistance and abnormal serum prolactin levels. When all the conditions are taken care of together, the response to treatment in PCOD is very good. It is good that you have reduced weight. Please make sure to let the BMI be within the normal limit. The fact that you have very little bleeding may indicate less endometrial preparation, pregnancy excluded. This can be corrected by using progesterone supplements like Duphaston. Hope this helps.
