Does Pregabalin Cause Severe Weakness In The Legs?
My father (97 years old) was just prescribed pregabalin 25 mg because of nerves in legs jumping and nueropathy (he uses a cane or walker) - but he began taking pregablin for the first time four days ago. He did one capsule for three days then shifted to two capsules twice a day. The Problem - he s lost all leg stability- he s not steady at all on feet - it s now more dangerous than ever for him to walk.

Hi, Thanks for the query, I understand your concern. Yes, pregabalin may cause changed walk / unsteadiness while walking. Probably your father needs change of dosage / change of medication. Please get advise of the treating doctor & till then let him avoid walking without support. Thanks.
