Does Primolut-N Cause Delayed Periods And Difficulty In Conceiving?

Hi doctor, i am going through a strange condition. Recently i got married approx 4 months ago. I take primolut n a day before my wedding to delay periods. And i took it continueously for 3 days. After that now every month i am facing delayed periods with severe pains. And we have done intercourse like number of times but i am not getting pregnant. I am very worried about this condition. Is it due to use of primolut n 4 months back? Please let me know

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

Primolut N only helps in bringing the withdrawal bleeding. It does not delay the periods and is not a contraceptive. Thus it does not affect the ability to conceive.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Rakhi Tayal, OBGYN
