Hello, Depo-Provera shot you took for family planning in mid-November remains active for three months. It needs to be repeated three monthly. Depo-Provera is known to cause irregular or absence of periods and after discontinuing takes a few months to leave your body. So periods remain irregular even in this period. You seem to have the same effect and want to induce a period with Primolute N. Your menses are delayed (which is also an oral contraceptive so does not help pregnancy while you take it cyclically.) due to Depot hormone (Progestin) and Primolut N is also derivative of the same hormone. So you are not likely to get bleeding with Promolut N (as in usual cases). In case you want to continue Depot shot for family planning, get pregnancy excluded and start having Depot shots three monthly. You should wait patiently for periods after the Depo shot is out of your systems and start with any other family planning devise with a gynecologist s advise. Hope I have answered your query.
