Progesterone supplementation will help to maintain endometrium and stabilize the fertilized ovum to implant properly in the uterus. There is no harm in taking micronized progesterone supplements. Even if conception did not occur, progesterone helps to maintain proper hormone balance and initiate a period when treatment is completed. If you have had regular unprotected sexual intercourse during the period of ovulation, your chances of conception are high, presuming rest of the factors are favorable. Hope this helps.
