Does Prozac Interfere With Pregnancy Test Result?
Hello, I took an at home pregnancy test Monday and was positive but then had s blood test that was negative. When I didn t start my period three days later I took two more tests that were all positive but now I am spotting. I have recently started taking Prozac for depression, would this cause me to have positive urine tests?

Prozac should not affect pregnancy tests results because it does not interfere with the levels HCG.
HCG is the hormone that is measured or looked for in pregnancy tests.
The blood test for HCG can pick up the hormone earlier than urine home tests so it is unusual for this to the negative and the urine tests positive.
