Does Qtip Stuck In Ear Showing Blood Need Immediate Attention ?

HELLO DOCTOR, I WAS CLEANING MY FOUR-YEAR OLD SON S EAR THIS EVENING AND AS I WAS DOING SO, HE MOVED HIS HEAD ABRUPTLY WITH THE Q-TIP STILL STUCK IN HIS EAR AND CRIED OUT THAT IT WAS PAINFUL. AS I WENT TO CHECK AFTER HIM LATER THAT NIGHT, I SAW BLOOD ON HIS SHEET AND WOKE HIM TO ASK IF HE HAD ANY PAIN AND HE SAID, NO. SHOULD I TAKE HIM TO THE ER IMMEDIATELY?

yes.u need to see en ent surgeon for q-tip removal and damage assessment after removal.if it is a superficial cut,pain killers and antibiotics will help ,it the damage is more,he may require surgery.
