Does Remron 30 Mg Tablet Cause Anxiety And Palpitations?

On 30 mg remron. I take 1 mg of klonopin at night to help me sleep, but during the day when not on the klonopin I get rather anxious and my heart rate increases. It just happens, not really nervous about anything. Never really had a panic attack before. Been on Remeron for 17 days and this just started. Think the dose is too high? Am 51 yrs, 5-9 148lbs.

I understand your concern .

Tab remron contains mirtazapine. It is antidepressant with dual action that helps in sleep. It is also used ad anti anxiety medicine.

But SSRI is better to control anxiety and panic as compared to remron.

In SSRI sertraline / escitalopram / peroxetine will help to reducr anxiety and prevent panic attacks.

Klonopin halp in both anxiety and sleep. Mild dose in day time also help in anxiety.

Psychological councelling and supportive psychotherapy will help .

Ensure proper sleep and diet.

Exercise and meditation can help.

Relaxations method like deep breathing exercise can help to reduce stress.
