Does Rizatriptan Help To Reduce Headaches?

i had a terrible headache for the last few days and had to take rizatriptan dose for 3 consecutive days. is it safe enough? is there alternative for my migraine because the normal paracetamols, ibuprofens do not work and my migraine can stay for 2-4 days. i havent known my triggers despite having migraine for maybe 30 years or so

Dear
I am sorry for the symptoms you are suffering
I read your query and understand your concern
It seems you are suffering from migraine attacks and unfortunately when they happen often daily treatment must be started
I think you will dominate pain if you start the right treatment
In my opinion a combination of daily treatment (propanolol or depachine or Topamax ) and triptans on attack (three is a little abusing so don't use anymore)
If headache is dominated with the first tablet the others won't help so better consult your doctor and try some venous analgesics
You should avoid caffein abuse, avoid energitic drinks and don't miss meals
I don't think you have reason to worry too much, migraine is fully treatable
Hope my answer will help you
Stay healthy
Best regards
