Does SGPT Value Return To Normal After Stopping PZA?
MY SGPT TEST RESULT IS 49.60 IU/L. I AM ON ATT W.E.F 28.04.2014 AFTER PLEURAL EFFUSION. IT WAS 121.60 IU/L ON 26TH MAY 2014. THE DOC HAD SAID THE HIGHER SGPT WAS DUE TO PZA INTAKE FOR FIRST TWO MONTHS OF ATT COURSE. NOW IT IS WITHDRAWN. DOES THE PRESENT SGPT LEVEL OF 49.60 IU/L AS COMPARED TO 121.60 IU/L ON 26.05.14 CALL FOR ANY MEDICINE OR WILL IT RELAPSE BACK TO NORMAL AS PZA WAS STOPPED ON 26.06.2014.
