Does Simvastatin Taken For Long Duration Cause Slight Case Of Dysplasia?
My opthomologist recently diagnosed a slight case of displosia, which he thinks could be related to my taking a simvastatin for the past 20 years. He suggests asking for another non-statin medication from my PG and revisiting with him in 2 months.......your thoughts...T. YYYY@YYYY
There is nothing like displosia. It can be displasia. Confirm it from doctor. Changing the the brand is no problem. Particular brand can not cause aproblem. Statin group of drug can have side effect, you have to see side effect of statin. When you revisit after 2 month get clerification on these point.
