Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You are having pseudocyesis. Spironolactone is known to cause gynecomastia; irregular menstruation or amenorrhea, as it is also a weak anti-androgen. Pregnancy should be avoided, while on Spironolactone, because of the risk of feminization of a male fetus. Spironolactone often is used in combination with an oral contraceptive, which suppresses ovarian androgen production and helps prevent pregnancy. Your fear is unfounded.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
