Does Storvas 10 Mg Helps To Treat Thyroid Problem?
Hi this is Aishwarya from Chennai, India. My mother has got thryoid problem. She is under medication. Her cholestrol level is normal., but still doctor has advised her to take Storvas 10 mg which i believe is a cholestrol tablet. Kindly advise on this.

Yes, Storvas is a cholesterol tablet, not a thyroid tablet. I don't think your mother need to take storvas if the cholesterol was normal.( but sometimes, we tend to give cholesterol tablets for diabetes patients based on the level) What is the cholesterol levels like? Does she have diabetes?
What is the latest thyroid test?
