its been 3 weeks since i have been feeling this so i went to GI cause im feeling pressure or something in my rectum and there is nothing in there its hard to describe it dont hurt and its a uncomfortable feeling so got my colon scoped with a colonoscopy and it came back normal and i guess he found a rip in my rectum and treated it its been a day and i still feel the pressure and just feels like something is there so i was thinking they couldn t find anything cause it was a colonoscopy and thinking if i should get a anoscopy cause i hear they can see better with that but idk whats going on i started feeling like this when i took sucralfate for 2 weeks for my stomach problems and then got constipated and my rectum never felt the same
Dear friend, You have very well described the entire sequence of events, and yes sucralfate constipated you, the hard stool resulted in a tear in the thin delicate lining of your rectum, and that's what's been causing all your problem. No you don't need to go for anoscopy, and I do hope this problem would settle soon. But just to help, I hope you are taking a stool softener and that your stools are soft now, secondly, I would suggest you try taking sitz bath. Sit in a tub with warm water, with some salt and rose Mary oil added to it. You'll be feeling normal soon.
