1. at he age of 60 if renal function tests [urea/creatinine] are normal then Bhasam medicines can be given in reduced dose and the
kidney functions can be monitored every month for any untoward effect.
2. GOLD [suvarna]: is proved as having anti bacterial action against
different organisms but when mixed with honey/ghee, it widens its
spectrum of action to stimulate body Immune cells.
ii. Dose: 1/8 rati to 1/4 rati [after meals], in Adults, dose higher than 1 gm may/can cause toxicity [take swarna bhasma for 3 months [alternate days] after meals]twice daily.
