Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My daughter was in severe pain Wednesday after pt and did not have anymore of her tramadol pills left I called the doctors office to get a refill but could not get ahold of them, I gave her one of my Tylenol with codeine. I did not get her tramadol to her until she had taken another Tylenol. She had a drug test today at 1 oclock this afternoon. She has been taking her tramadol before she ran out Does tramadol show up on a drug test.
Thank you for asking on HealthcareMagic.com, providing better healthcare for you. I have gone through your case and I can understand your concern. Tramadol is not considered a controlled substance or a narcotic. Tramadol is an opioid, the chemical structure of tramadol (ultram) differs significantly from that of morphine. And so, tramadol alone will not show positive for opiates on a urine drug test. Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions. Wishing you good health.
