Hi I used monistat 3 it burned the first two days. The theird day kinda, then mid day I switched to vagusil because it no longer burned Just itched and I noticed it was pretty swollen up there. Got some relief but it s still not gone. Then I noticed I might of used too much monistat cream at the beginning because the skin got really soft and white and that area is what itched I noticed . Some small cuts like. How chapped skin gets only it s moist. Should I just continue with the vagusil and that will clear on its own slowly or do I need some other kind of medicine.
Since you are suffering from yeast infection, you are suggested to take care of your hygiene. Avoid douches and vaginal sprays. Wash your private part with warm water and wear cotton clothes. Avoid sex for a couple of days if sexually active. You can take an oral course of Fluconazole. To avoid itching and burning sensation apply locally Miconazole or Clotrimazole ointment and creams in the area affected. Take balanced diet rich in protein, calcium and iron. Stay well hydrated. You can use Vagisil cream to ease discomfort due to itching.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
