Does Veltam-F Have Any Side Effects?

SIR, AS I HAVE TAKEN VELTAM F 0.4MG OF INTAS PHARMACEUTICALS.SINCE LAST FOUR YEAR.ON 2011 PROSTATE SIZE 41X39X42MM VOLUME 35CC. AND 2014 PROSTATE SIZE-38X42X40MM -33GM. SIR MY AGE ARE 59 RUNNING CAN I CONTINU VELTAM F.SIR PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHETHER THERE IS SIDE EFFECT OR NOT.

Hello
You are taking veltam-f ( tamsulosin+fenasteride ) for enlarged prostate .
This is a choice of treatment for BPH ( Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia ) .
Since you are taking it for 3-4 years and there are good result and prostate in not enlarging ,so take it as prescribed by your doctor .
However , there are few side effects like , gynecomastia, impotence , loss of libido, reduction in the volume of ejaculate , dizziness, nausea and beside other minor side effects.
Since you are taking for 3-4 years ,so the benefit is more than side effects ,so take this drug continuously.
