I was have mild antral edema and erythema. My doctor put me on prilosec 20mg daily. The first the I began to feel dizzy, second week my legs began to feel funny, next came veritgo and tingling in my feet and hands. My doctor says the medication will not cause veritgo and that it was anxiety however I have found that vertigo can be a side effect. Is it wrong to stop taking the medication? Can I have a lower dose. Also have hypothyroidism (my thyroid was removed 18 years ago).
HI Well come HCM Any disease may have numbers of symptoms, Vertigo is just a symptoms and it can not have any side effect this is weird kind of thought some drug can have some side effects but, for the symptoms this absurd idea, your over all symptoms may be suggestive of functional in origin, and better to keep the stress level low, hope this helps.
