Does A Dent In The Skull After An Injury Indicate Fracture?
Today I hit my head on a double decker bed while getting up. It was quite painful and I found a line dent on the left side of my head. After the short pain I felt ok but worried about the dent. Is it a skull fracture or anything? I might have slight headaches in the left side of my head. Dont know if its due to psychological effect. Should I be concerned and visit a doctor?
Hello,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you got hit your head on a double Decker bed while getting up. You found a line dent on the left side of your head. You are worried about the dent. It may be skull fracture so get it x-ray done to rule out it . Further no need to worry much about it as its treatment is rest and analgesics (diclofenac/ibuprofen).You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care.
