Does a doctor have to tell a patient he is dying ? Eventhough the patient will not handle it, and will go into shock.

It is a well known fact that even on the deathbed of a patient, a doctor will be trying to save life only. So as a professional the doctor should not tell a patient that he is going to die even if he actually in a state of about to die. But the doctor should invariably tell the attendants and relatives of the patient who brought him for the treatment clearly about all seriousness of his condition, and the possibility of his death etc., and also may suggest any other source like shifting him to any super specialty hospital etc., that may perhaps likely to treat him further. This is very important.
