Does A Fluid Filled Bruise On Shin After A Fall Need X-ray?

I fell on some stairs and hit my upper shin hard on the metal edging of the step. It was very painful at the time. The next day there was was feels to be fluid on the injured area and was excruciating to touch but no pain when not touching the area. 4 day later there seems to be some bruising staring to appear, the fluid is still there and is slightly less painfully to touch. Have I caused bruising to the bone/area of should I have it x/rayed?

HI
Well come to HCM
This may not be fluid but this could be collection of blood and formed the clot, better to get done the x-ray this is necessary to rule out the fracture part for the swelling you can try Tab Ibuprofen and collection of blood would come around if this is really formation of clot, care need to be taken for infection, for precaution antibiotic can be taken take care.
