a fly landed in my eye while out a few days ago. I thought it might have been some dirt, so I closed my eye for a while and blinked. After a while I assumed my tears had flushed it out. A few hours later someone noticed a fly on my eye ball, i went to pull it off and attached to it was a white string, which was elastic and also sticking to my eye. I think I got it all out but I m not sure. Should I seek further medical help?
Hello It seems from the history that you had a injury to the eye because of fly entering the eye. This requires examination to remove the fly or the parts of the fly which can remain inside the eye. The fly can cause infection and the retained parts of the fly can cause allergic response. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
