Hi, I am 57 years old. I have a stomach hernia, & was soppose to have surgery on Monday July 28,2014. I had never had a colonoscopy before & my surgeon felt that we needed to have that done first, ruling out any serious promblems in the colon. Day/& evening before my colonoscopy I was on clear diet, & had to drink Movie prep to clean out colon for next day procedure. All seemed fine, except on morning of colonoscopy when they took me into room, my heart pulse was at 25. B/P was ok. The antizeologist freaked literally, would not allow surgeon to do procedure until he got my pulse in 40 s, won t allow any surgery until I see a cardio & they give ok. Just how much danger was I in at heart rate at 25-30 s? Thank you for your answers. Sheila
