Does A Lump On The Butt Need Medical Attention?

My daughter is 17 months old. She has a bump on the outside of her butt. When I popped it lots of puss came out, the bump went down but it was still firm under the skin. The bump has redeveloped in the last two days. Does she need to go to the doctor.

Hi,
She does need to go the Doctor and get examined. It could be an abscess or a Cyst containing secretions of Dermal glands.
Either way, she should see a Doctor or a Surgeon and it can be removed by a small surgery.
