Does A Minor Injury To The Toe, Which Is Not Deep And Painful, Need Medical Attention?

Hello, I was swimming in the sea when I stabbed my toe on a rock. It is a minor injury as it basically just ripped a little bit of skin and drew some blood. It is not very deep and the pain stopped after five minutes. We cleaned it and my mother said it will be fine. Should I have it checked though because I m quite paranoid

Hello,

Don't worry but just get it done injection TT if you did not take since 5years.

Use local antibiotic cream with painkiller medication is useful.

But until the examination is done it is difficult to say how severe it is.

Please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
