Does A Sinus Infection Cause Yellow Nasal Discharge And Facial Pain?

I have been told I have a bad case of a sinus infection. I have been very sick with it for 7 days. Ever since I started coming down with the sickness I have had bright yellow mucus come from my nose. I have gone to the doctor for the treatment and have been given antibiotics and a steroid shot to stop the pain. Ive never had pain in my face like this for sinuses. It felt like my head was filled with liquid when I moved. I just wanted to ask if this is normal for a sinus infection or if it may be something more. I did have bronchitis for over a month in April.

Yes, sinus infection may cause may post nasal drip if they infected with bacteria may lead to yellow color discharge.

Avoid cool drinks and frozen water, avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.

Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.

use tablet Sinarest.

If you have bronchitis may need to take, antibiotics with bronchodilators.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
