Does A Spot With Pus In It Indicate Diabetes?

Hi, im 19... i have a spot on my leg above my ankel, happend by hair trapped, it turned red,sore and started getting puss in it. previously i had a tissue infection on my genetle Im really worried because i don't know if its a sign of diabetes. will appreciate your reply, thank you so much.

Hi,

I have gone through your query.
Infection due to ingrown hair is common and does not mean that you are diabetic. You have to start oral antibiotic like doxycycline and ointment containing mupirocin for local application.
Diabetes can be considered, if after prolonged treatment lesion is not healing. No need to worry for now.
