My 45 year old brother just told me he s been experiencing issues with dizziness, fogginess, and balance. he went to the urgent care and was told most likely an inner sinus or ear infection. but they told him to see his regular dr. asap. any kneejerk thoughts? thanks
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Inner ear lodges the structures responsible for balancing and any inner ear infections or problems can cause dizziness, nausea and balancing problems. Consult an ENT specialist and get an otoscopic examination to rule out ear problems.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
