Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 61-year old female, and I have been having a lot of leg cramps. It happens in the evenings and in the middle of the night, when I wake up in the morning. And oddly enough sometimes I get the very same cramp in both feet or legs. I wear heels most days so I thought it could perhaps be from tired legs. I think I drink enough water, but do I need more potassium, or I should I be checked for anemia. It seems I heard that anemia could cause cramps - ? Thanks. Email address is
