Does Appearance Of Brown Spots In Panties After Unprotected Sex Indicate Pregnancy?
Hello. Last night I had unprotected sex. When I went to the bathroom this morning there was no discharge, later this evening though I noticed there were some brown spots in my panties. My period ended the day before. My calendar says I m not due to ovulate for another few weeks. I did not take the morning after pill. What are my chances of pregnancy?
Hello dear Understand your concern Brown spot after the unprotected sexual intercourse does not suggest pregnancy as cardinal feature of pregnancy is delayed period. Chance of pregnancy is very less as you did sex just day after finished period and that is infertile period. Following are the causes of brownish spot: Vaginal/pelvic infection, trauma to genital tract, vaginal atrophy/low estrogen, precancerous condition of cervix and vagina, hormonal imbalance, rough sex. If spots continues consult the gynecologist for evaluate above cause by following investigation: swab test, vaginal examination, hormonal analysis, PAP smear, USG scan. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Dholariya Sagar
