Does Atrial Fibrillation Or Epidural Cause Tremors?
A week ago I had an orthroscopy done. On my pre op appointment I was told I had A Fib. I chose an epidural. Since then I have been experiencing pulpit at ions accompanied with tremors Which are very uncomfortable, as it occurs daily and continuously, I cannot control the tremors could it be the A Fib that is causing the tremors or is it the epidural that is causing this?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Atrial fibrillation you feel like heart is beating like irregularly. The steroid may be in epidural area increased blood pressure lead to palpitations. Other possibilities like hyperthyroidism or anemia or essential/anxiety tremor, etc. Please consult your doctor he will check once again, do ECHO cardiography then treat you accordingly. Take care.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
