Does Blood In Urine Post Stomach Pain Treatment Need Medical Attention?

I have had pain in my lower left stomach for 5 weeks . Gastrointestinal dr said I had it s. Gave me Ativan ans hyoscyamine. Was on a stressful trip to France for my daughters wedding and had severe pain ans felt like a fist was pushing on my bladder. Pain goes on some days . I am back and felt good today and now with jet lag I woke up to pee and found red blood with some little clots in my urin. No fever. Worried. Can I wait until tomorrow to see my dr? XXXXX

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Blood in the urine can be from a side effect of the drug or lack of hydration from busy schedules and journey in most of the cases.

Till you meet your doc tomorrow, drink plenty of liquids and avoid further doses of abdomen condition related medicines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
