Does Brownish Bleeding On Last Day Of Periods After Intake Of Misoprostol Indicate Termination Of Pregnancy?

Hi..I was 6 weeks pregant and I took 2 misoprostol..after few hours I get bleed n cramp..then after 1 day I took another 2 misoprostol..got clot..it was thick.. After that my period continues until 9 days..last day was like brownish..after my period stop..I suddenly got dizzy.. Is it my abortion successful?

According to your information, you have taken prescribed abortion pill in the right way. Bleeding may continue for 7-10 days after medical abortion.

However, we need to rule out retained bits or placental tissue in this context as you got brown discharge. Vaginal infection should be ruled out.

I suggest you to undergo one ultrasound scan to confirm that abortion process is completed. Otherwise, D & C may be needed to evacuate cavity.

Maintain genital hygiene. Take care and good luck.
