Does Burning Sensation In Navel Area Has Any Connection With Hernia Surgery?

I woke up to use the bathroom and noticed a slight burning sensation in my naval area. I had this a couple of weeks ago also but it went away. I did have hyernia surgery a couple of years ago-just wondering if there might be some connection or something else going on?

Hello,

I really appreciate your concern, directly or ideally both the history of surgery and burning sensation may not be related but it cannot be neglected if the symptoms of burning continue to happen then it has to bring to investigation. It may be nonspecific just keep this under observation, else it is nothing to worry.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain
