Does Change In Behavior Be Caused By Partial Hysterectomy?
My 30 year old sister had a partial hysterectomy approx a year ago. Her personality has completely changed, she went from moderately self absorbed, caring and loving and even tempered and centered to aggressive, reckless and totally narcisitic. We no longer recognize her. Ciuld this be related?? How can we recover our sweet girl???? We need a specific course of actioin because she thinks we are all jealous and out to get her...
As I understand your sister's behavior she might be suffering from mood disorder probably bipolar II or bipolar I. Such kind of behavior found in mood disorders and the episode of mood disorder may be precipitated after any stressful event including surgery.
Surgery is not the cause of this behavior and it may occur to any body.
She need to be evaluated fully to rule out any organic cause for such behavior. Thanks
