I have been feeling a dull ache that comes and goes in my left upper cheek and eye. Ironically it started the day my opthamologist told me that my pressure was at 24 and to come back in 4 weeks for a retest. Could be sinus and a coinicidence, but not sure if pressure increase would cause that or not.
Pain over the upper part of cheek often associated with nasal discharge could be suggesting the possibility of sinusitis. Your condition is likely to be an coincidence to the increased intraocular pressure that your ophthalmologist has indicated to you. Please follow-up with your ophthalmologist as advised.
Anti-inflammatory medications for 3-5 days could be helpful to alleviate your symptoms related to sinisitis. Steam inhalations thrice daily could be helpful as well.
