Does Chemotherapy Cause Leg Cramps With Cartilage Softening?
In '98 I had breast cancer had chemo, it took my muscle mass. Had water therapy,it help. Then '04 had breat cancer in other breast, (2 diff. cancers). Cheme damaged my nervious system. Now the leg cramps, are coming back the bottom of my feet feel funny when I walk, and my finger nails are very soft. My doctor thinks that the Chomo is attacking my system. What do you think? After hearing your history in think you are suffering from peripheral neuropathy.
It is a side effect of chemotherapy were the nerves in your body gets damaged by the toxic chemotherapy drug.
I would advise you to take tablet pregabalin 75 mg tablet twice daily after food for 1 month.
It generally takes in average 3 to 6 months of time for the condition to improve.
