Does Chronic Diarrhoea Indicate An Underlying Problem?
i have loose stool for last two weeks . i have no any stomach pain or cramping. two to three times i need to go to toilet and every time its the same. i never had such problem before. plese let me know,is it a bad indication of a serious problem, i am male. 32 aged. thank you
Hi! Do you have any specific discolouration in stool? Has the consistency changed in the last few days? Unless it is accompanied by bloody stain or blackish discolouration(which might indicate an underlying bleed), it usually isn’t a serious condition. But that doesn’t mean you don’t need to get it investigated! Also you might want to know the “WHY?”. So send the stool for Routine and Microscopy. Most probably your case looks like due to change in the food habit! If it doesn’t resolve by changing food and if it is constantly hampering your work, we might also plan for a scopy! Till then rest assured!
