Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I recently had a bp of 180 /103 and a pulse of 144, my normal is 130/78 and 66. When I went to the Er my troponinis went from .1 to .3 to .5. The echo and stress test said I was ok. I also have many allergies and had been put on ciproflaxin. I have a bad family history for heart attacks and have a stent in my heart now. I am 69. Could the ciprofllaxin have caused elevated troponins? Elaine
