Does Coming Off Diltiazem And Palvix Cause Lightheadedness, Dizziness And Weakness?
I recently had high blood pressure and a heart attack. I am 87 years old and take 80 Mg of Lipitor, .125 of Digoxin, 25 Mg of Metoprolol, 10 Mg of Xarelto, 30 Mg of Diltiazem 3X a day and 15 Mg of Temazepan at night if needed. I was taking 120 Mg Diltiazem once a day before and Plavix once a day. I have been light headed, dizzy at times and very weak since the medication change, Could the symptoms be the change in medication?

dear patient,when ever there is change in the medication and duration of intake of medication specially heart medicines,there is bound to develop some weakness and dizziness till your body gets used to the medication.it will take a couple of weeks for the symptoms of light headedness and dizziness to go away.rest assured you will be fine.hope that answers the question.
